This proposal details the development and implementation of a Cloud-based Food Ordering System (FOS) for Alerta Care Medical Centre, designed to enrich the patient experience by allowing personalized meal selections tailored to individual medical conditions and dietary preferences.
Objectives
The primary objectives of the Cloud-based Food Ordering System are as follows:
- To provide patients with a convenient and user-friendly platform for meal selection.
- To ensure meal options are curated based on each patient’s specific medical condition and
dietary requirements. - To streamline the meal ordering process, thereby reducing manual errors and enhancing
operational efficiency. - To integrate seamlessly with the Hospital Information System (HIS) for accurate patient data
retrieval and meal customization.
SYSTEM FEATURES
User-Friendly Interface
The system will feature an intuitive interface accessible via tablets or smartphones provided to patients. This interface will allow patients to browse the daily menu, view detailed descriptions and nutritional information, and select their preferred meals for breakfast, lunch, tea time and dinner.
Menu Customization
The FOS will offer a variety of menu options curated by the hospital’s dietitians.
